A Brief History
The Mill Tavern is a 15th Century Pub & Restaurant situated on the Surrey, West Sussex & Hampshire Borders. In the 16th century it was
used as a courthouse and has had a
mixed history since then.
Situated next to an old water mill on the river Wey, it has long been the centre of the Shottermill community.
Our Facilities
Apart from having a large bar, restaurant and function room, The Mill Tavern offers a substantial garden with adventure playground for the children. The garden and function room are also available for private functions such as weddings & christianing parties.
Private Parties
The garden & function room is an ideal place to celebrate a wedding or christianing. with choices of 3-course meals, buffets, bbq's and hog roasts. a marquee is also available in the garden if required for wedding receptions. a private minibus ('you drink, we drive') is provided for those who wish to leave their car at home for the occasion.
Plans For The Future
We are currently looking to provide
disabled toilets & baby change facilities.
A kitchen expansion will also allow the chance to provide homebaked breads & breakfast and coffees in the morning.
