A Brief History
The Mill Tavern is a 15th Century Pub & Restaurant situated on the Surrey, West Sussex & Hampshire Borders. In the 16th century it was used as a courthouse and has had a varied history since then. Situated next to an old water mill off the river Wey, it has long been the centre of the Shottermill community.
Our Facilities
Apart from having a large bar, restaurant and function room, The Mill Tavern offers a substantial garden with adventure playground for the children. The garden and function room are also available for private functions such as weddings & christening parties.
Private Parties
The garden & function room is an ideal place to celebrate a wedding or christening. With choices of 3-course meals, buffets, bbq's and hog roasts.
The Beer Garden & Patio
With a fantastic adventure playground for older children and a fenced play area for toddlers, our garden is the perfect place to come and relax with your family throughout the day.
Our large patio also provides shady cover from the midday sun and is also a great place to sit if it is raining.
